I’ve been asked to give one of the Alexander von Humboldt lectures at the Radboud University of Nijmegen in September 2010. I’m really pleased to accept this. The theme is on Making European Space(s).
They’ve had some really interesting people speak in the past. Derek Gregory, Ed Soja, Doreen Massey, Benedict Anderson, Etienne Balibar, Saskia Sassen, Bob Jessop, Manuel Castells…
As I understand it there will be the formal lecture, plus probably a seminar or two.
I will be doing something similar at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in late July – the Erlangen lecture in Cultural Geography, plus a follow-up seminar. There are more details here.
