Interesting post from Graham Harman on Meillassoux’s After Finitude here.
Some small things to note – I hadn’t realised that the English translation of the book was not simply the same text as the French; there is a nice criterion for someone being a ‘genuine philosopher’; the six-point outline is helpful since it allows a clear position to be taken against Meillassoux.
It’s really revealing to see how Graham is building up this book – not as detailed as his posts last year on the composition of a book in total, but very interesting nonetheless.
