There will be a few shorter pieces coming out in the next several months.
A piece on Lefebvre’s theory of moments, and his work on time more generally, for a book project entitled Learning from Vancouver. This seems an interesting project – a collaborative venture between the Urban Subjects collective and the artist Bik van der Pol. There was an exhibition and dialogue on this theme – details here. Urban Subjects produced the book Autogestion, or Henri Lefebvre in New Belgrade that came out last year. My piece draws on my 2004 book Understanding Henri Lefebvre and a little on my introduction to Lefebvre’s Rhythmanalysis.
A reply to a piece by John Allen entitled ‘Topological Twists: Power’s Shifting Geographies’, for the new journal Dialogues in Human Geography. And, for the same journal, a response to some reviews of my Terror and Territory book that came from the ‘Author meets Critics’ panel at the AAG.
A three way discussion with Derek Gregory and Peter Marcuse. This will appear in Spanish translation in Revista Urban, and hopefully in English somewhere. It will be around the relation between social/spatial theory and history.
More details on each when I have them.
