Congratulations to my good friend and research collaborator Neil Brenner, who has just accepted a post as Professor of Urban Theory in the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. The GSD is doing some really interesting work, including the journal New Geographies, and is one of the most exciting places for inter/cross/post-disciplinary work on social/spatial theory and practice. I’m sure Neil’s appointment will take this work in interesting new directions.
