The three other lectures in the University of Kentucky’s Committee on Social Theory spring 2012 series will be given by Michael Hardt, Russ Castronovo and Jane Guyer. Details here. Those are terrific names, and the shame of it – for me – is that I won’t get to hear their lectures, given that they are spaced out over the term, even though they form a series of linked talks on the theme of security. My title is ‘Secure the Volume: Vertical Geopolitics and the Depth of Power’. Hopefully they will be recorded in some way.
