David Storey’s Territory: The Claiming of Space has now been published in a second edition, retitled Territories: The Claiming of Space. It’s a really helpful overview of events and debates and a great textbook which I use in my teaching. My work on territory is discussed very generously, and I even get put in a text box – ‘2.2 Stuart Elden on Territory’ – which is a first for me. You can also read an interview with David at the Exploring Geopolitics site.
