Graham Harman offers some brief thoughts on the Anglophone reception of Sloterdijk here. He mentions one of the recent collections on his work to appear in English, In Media Res – which is also available open access.

I think Graham is right that, until recently, Sloterdijk didn’t really catch on in English (he says in the US, and isn’t sure about the UK, but I think the same is true there too). Much of the reason, of course, was the lack of translation, apart from Critique of Cynical Reason and his short book on Nietzsche, along with a few other pieces. But this has changed a lot in recent years – Terror from the Air; Rage and Time; God’s Zeal; Neither Sun nor Death; and some other shorter books. Spheres I is now out, as Graham mentions, with the other volumes in process. I’m currently reading the manuscript of the translation of You Must Change Your Life for a press. With the collection Graham mentions, some journal special issues, and the Sloterdijk Now collection, there is more than enough to see whether he gets picked up in Anglophone debates.
