Six Masters by Research (MRes) bursaries at Durham

Six Masters by Research (MRes) bursaries will be offered for 2012 / 2013. The value of each award will be £5000. Tuition fees will be deducted from the award first, and any remaining amount can be used as a stipend. The bursaries can cover topics in both physical and human geography. These will be awarded on the basis of the quality of student and research proposal (500 words).

Students should submit a covering letter setting out the academic case for the award, their proposal and CV to geog.pgadmissions@durham.ac.uk by 4.00pm on April 2nd, 2012.

For a list of specific topics my colleagues and I are interested in supervising, see here. This list is indicative, not exclusive.
