Drawing from diverse examples – responses to unrest in theUK, and the Fukushima nuclear plant explosions in Japan. The TV show 24, and Civil Contingencies planning exercises. 

Ben Anderson will argue that ’emergency’ is an affective atmosphere by which we anticipate the future.
