A pile of new books received recently. Foucault’s Mal faire, dire vrai is probably the first I will tackle. The Polity ones here were in recompense for a review of a manuscript for them; Alex Jeffrey kindly sent me a copy of his new book The Improvised State, which I’ve mentioned here before; and I’ve been asked to write a review of Re-imaging Western European Geography in English Renaissance Drama. The others such as the Shakespeare, Harvey, Greenblatt and Gottmann were ones I picked up second-hand.
