The proofs and index for The Birth of Territory are now done. I think that’s it for work on this book from my side, though I’m still awaiting the cover design. I wrote a bit about the experience of looking at the proofs in an earlier post here. David Beer has a good post on his own proofing experience at his blog Thinking Culture. I’d pretty much agree with this – a strange experience.

By the way, Amazon.com have the book at a sizable discount – down to $20.58, and that’s with their pre-order price guarantee so they don’t charge until it ships but you get the lowest price it was between ordering and shipping. Amazon.co.uk don’t have it listed yet.
