International Scholar post with Al-Quds Bard Honors College renewed

I’ve had my post as International Scholar with Al-Quds Bard Honors College, Al-Quds University renewed for the 2013-14 academic year. This is part of the Academic Fellowship program of the Open Society Institute in Budapest. I’ll be working again with two early-career Palestinian academics, Nadim Khoury and Maha Samman, and their colleagues on teaching, administration, research and publishing. It will require two week-long visits to the University in Abu Dis, as well as email contact and two discipline meetings – where international and returning scholars meet to discuss their work. The last two of those were in Istanbul, but not sure where the next will be. I wrote about my visit to the College this year in an earlier post on this site.
