I haven’t been able to find a better image of the one below – a photo of a Predator drone superimposed over planet earth. I remember seeing something similar to this “commercial” when I visited Washington D.C. and used the subway system. They were plastered all over the walls. At the time, I wondered who exactly the posters were advertising too — certainly it wasn’t private individuals looking to put a Predator over their backyard. Perhaps it was part of a dispersed lobbying-legitimizing effort. In any case, this particular poster (around since at least  2005), is interesting in so many ways. Choose your stock RMA phrase: “Deadly Persistence,” “real-time situational awareness”, “the battlefield never looked clearer.”
