In this interview with Claire Zalc, Ginzburg discusses the influence of his parents – the novelist Natalia Ginzburg and scholar of Russian literature Leone Ginzburg – his childhood in Fascist Italy, historical method, Aby Warburg, and the continuing importance of historical scholarship.
