Vancouver

Great few days in Vancouver, with unseasonably cold weather and good company. The talks at University of Victoria and University of British Columbia seemed to go well, and lots of good questions. If all goes to plan these are the last talks on The Birth of Territory before I finish writing it. Back to Seattle today, which looks even colder and apparently has even more snow. I’m hoping my last week at UW will get me where I wanted to with the book drafting.

And the most important sporting event of the year for me begins today…

I’d take 2-1 or 2-2 – given England are already in possession. Just as long as it’s a good contest.
