The Geopolitics of King Lear: Territory, Land, Earth – audio

This is the audio recording of my lecture at the Anachronic Shakespeare conference. The accompanying Powerpoint slides are here. Thanks to Daniel Hoffman-Schwartz for the introduction. There was a good, challenging but helpful, discussion afterwards. The recording for that didn’t come out well, but I may try to clean up the audio and improve the volume levels. [Update: now available as an audio file]

Very nice, Stuart — I esp enjoyed the bit about temporal hybridty or blending in the play. Quite a lot to chew on, so thanks for the audio. Did you just record it on your phone? Maybe I’ll try to do the same for my talk on Friday afternoon — “A Poetics of Nothing: Air in the Early Modern Imagination” — which will also touch on *Lear*, among other things.

    Nice to meet you!

Many thanks Steve – and for the comment on the Coriolanus review. Yes, I used an iPad to record it, and will post about how I do this – it’s really very simple. Would be great if you could record your talk, which I will be sorry to miss.
