The Political Bodies of Coriolanus

2101-Corr-P-LThe audio recording of my Politics, Philosophy and International Thought lecture at Aberystwyth University is available here. It’s a part of the planned Shakespearean Territories book, and this time I talked about Coriolanus – mainly the play but also the Ralph Fiennes film version (which I reviewed for Berfrois).

The plan is that the written version of this text first appears in a book edited by Jenny Edkins and Adrian Kear, entitled International Politics and Performance: Critical Aesthetics and Creative Practice. The introduction to the lecture is by Tom Marshall, a PhD student in the International Politics department at Aberystwyth.
