This autumn I’ll be teaching a course for incoming Masters students at Warwick on global events, which should be useful for their broader studies. The topics are intentionally general so that the examples can be contemporary and potentially updated in future years in relation to events. Here’s what I’ve suggested.
Thu 3 Oct – What is Geopolitics?
Thu 10 Oct – States, Nations, Territories
Thu 17 Oct – Borders and Walls
Thu 31 Oct – Humanitarian Intervention and the International Community
Thu 7 Nov – The Ongoing ‘War on Terror’
Thu 14 Nov – Environmental and Resource Geopolitics
Thu 21 Nov – Popular Geopolitics and Resistance
