Unlimited Migration in a Limited World, Saskia Sassen

Synethetic Zero with a lecture from Saskia Sassen (in English, despite the German text at the beginning).

synthetic zerØ

interesting presentation on what she calls the analytic tactics (working out of “epistemic indignation”) before method, which makes sense I think if we consider these terms along sociological lines rather than as strict categories, these updates by social scientists like Sassen, her husband Richard Sennett, John Law and co, Paul Rabinow’s crew, etc,  of/after thinkers like Derrida and Foucault seem like the way to go if we want to be able to intervene in the world in a timely manner.
