The Lecture will be followed by a drinks reception sponsored by Antipode’s publisher, Wiley. This will see the return of the Antipode Groovefest with our very own DJ Mod to celebrate 50 years of the journal, 1969-2019.

Geography as conceived by the practitioners and theorists who have been recurrent figures in my work (Reclus, Kropotkin, Gracq) is a means of approaching landscapes with a sensitivity to what state boundaries obscure: unexpected natural foundations and modes of life that spring up below the radar of authority.
