Some very sad news – Professor Kaiyan Kaikobad, of Brunel University has died suddenly. Kaiyan used to be at Durham, and was on the interview panel when I was appointed in 2002. He was a regular at the boundary events in the department of Geography, and was extremely supportive of my work when I ventured into issues around international law on territory.
