    I can’t wait! The opening reminds me of a factoid or maybe internet rumor that TP had been seen working as a crossing guard at his kids’ school uptown. I like the image: out of chaos, temporary and uncertain order, for a little while.

    Maybe I’ll add this to my fall syllabus!

    I’m getting more intrigued by the postmodern literary fascination with 9/11. Would be really interesting to read this novel in conjunction witih Don Delilo’s Falling Man.
