Last summer a large group of researchers were successful in winning a Leverhulme Trust network on Governing Emergencies, led by Ben Anderson at Durham and supported by Rachel Gordon (also Durham). The network connects together individuals and institutions including me (RHUL), Matthew Kearnes (New South Wales), Stephen Collier (The New School), Emily Gilbert (Toronto), Marieke de Goede (Amsterdam) and Michael Guggenheim (Goldsmiths).

The network website and blog already looks very nice. You can find out more about the network’s themes, aims and rationale, and useful links there. The first meeting will be held this September at the RGS.
